Coaches are fond of saying “defense wins championships.” We’ve been known to say it a few times ourselves. When subjected to economic analysis, does it turn out to be true? Actually, no.
Doesn’t mean we won’t insist on good financial defense for our clients, though. Balanced with some aggressive offense, it’s a winning strategy.
